In August 2016, The Duchess launched into the South African market, as the world’s first non-alcoholic gin & tonic. The brand launched just as the dry drinks sector was coming alive in South Africa.

We worked with the team on a 6-month traditional PR Campaign to launch this innovative local brand, and generate more education into this new 'virgin' drinks market. Our campaign included all the traditional PR avenues along with event sponsorship, media tastings and event collaborations.

We achieved over R1m worth of coverage for the brand, based on pure advertising value alone. The campaign generated extensive word-of-mouth and social media mentions, gaining the brand notice overseas. They have since launched in the Netherlands and UK.

The brand was featured in over 40 publications (in print and online), including House & Garden, Womens Health, My Family, VISI, Eat Out, House & Leisure, and Private Edition.

Events partnerships included Art Africa Fair, SA Fashion Week, Shimansky influencer events and The Entertainer launch.
